Robert James Russell is the author of the novels Mesilla and Sea of Trees, and the collection Don t Ask Me to Spell It Out He is the co founder and Managing Editor of the literary journal Midwestern Gothic and the founder of the online literary journal CHEAP POP He s been nominated three times for the Pushcart Prize, and was awarded an artist residency with the University Musical Society for the 2014 2015 performance season He lives in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
