  • Maybe you don't like Miranda July, I can understand that, it's hard to believe her sincerity when everything seems to have the same weight for her, and she can be a bit too cute or neurotic (or worse, "quirky"), but there are parts of this book that are really affecting: mostly those parts when July lets her interviewees speak for themselves.
